Chester County Cares provides direct services, emergency resources and referral information to individuals who are less fortunate in order to improve the quality of their lives.
At the Coatesville office, the Chester County Cares Prescription Assistance Program, otherwise known as the PAP, is a program where clients can receive free or low-cost medication if eligible. Individuals with low or no income can receive help with the cost of their medication. The PAP focuses on those who do not financially qualify for public prescription coverage and can not afford private insurance. The program involves the client, Chester County Cares, physicians, local pharmacies and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
